유동명 작가의 작품은 독창적인 제작과정과 기법에서 큰 가치를 지닌다. 그는 화폭 위에 닥종이를 반복적으로 덧대어 견고한 바탕을 형성하고, 그 위에 다양한 색조를 입히며 콜라주 기법으로 작품을 완성한다. 이러한 세심하고 반복적인 작업을 통해 작품마다 깊이 있는 질감과 고유한 색감이 어우러져 자연의 숨결처럼 여운을 남긴다.

Yoo Dongmyung's works hold great value in their unique production process and techniques. He meticulously layers traditional Korean mulberry paper (Dakjongi) onto the canvas, creating a solid foundation, then applies various tones of color and completes his pieces using collage techniques. Through this meticulous and repetitive process, each work embodies a rich texture and distinctive color palette, leaving a lingering impression akin to the breath of nature.
In this exhibition, the artist explores the cycles and vitality of nature, focusing on tidal flats. The monochromatic tones of blue, gray, and red, along with the repetitive textures, visually embody the ceaseless flow and transformation of tidal flats, elevating their inherent beauty and significance into art. To the artist, tidal flats are not merely a part of nature but a source of life and a space of harmonious circulation.
